Brighton teen entrepreneur launches his own auto detailing

As some higher school pupils start off summer season positions, quickly-to-be senior Connor Nicholson hopes he is launching a job.

Nicholson, 17, founded Shorty’s Car Detailing in May during the conclusion of his junior 12 months at Brighton Superior University.

He mentioned he started smaller and tested the assistance to see if it would be rewarding, and it turned out to be.

He put in about $300 for gear and materials to commence. “At first I was borrowing my parents’ old fuel tension washer,” he reported.

“We are by now booked by means of mid-July.”

It only took a few positions in advance of he had attained more than enough to invest in extra machines and cleaning products.

He operates the service out of the hatchback of his 2012 Madza3, where he shops his new substantial-finish electrical tension washer, a shop vacuum, drill-driven and hand-held brushes, cleaners, protectants and tender cloth towels.
